Valentines Day, it's more than just romance.
Do you love the holiday or try to forget that it's happening? 
I'm a lover of the holiday, and always have been. 
I'm pretty sure it's because my Mama instilled it in me at a young age. 
Growing up, I have fond memories of the pink & red holiday in the middle of the winter. 
Why? Because my Mama would decorate the top of the piano with her silk, red roses and teddy bears with hearts on them.
The night of Valentines she cooked up a special dinner and set out 'goblets' to drink from - a rare and special occasion for us kids. 
Each of us would discover a few conversation hearts or heart-shaped chocolate from Dove on our plate. 
Valentines Day was a special memory growing up because of the love my whole family shared.



Every year this holiday comes around, I'm reminded that love is to be shared and celebrated, no matter what the circumstances. 
Share love with your family.
Share love with your coworkers. 
Spread love to a stranger.
Valentines Day, it's more than than just romance.
