“Springtime” - more than just a season. It’s an ending to a dark, cold winter and a bright hello to longer, warmer days to come. After decked out Christmas halls, winter snowmen and sleighs, and maybe some red roses and hearts for Valentines, I couldn’t be more excited for March to come around because it means SPRING. Spring florals, birds and eggs, it’s bright and refreshing and beautiful.
Season changes can be overwhelming and/or stressful in the home if you’re not sure how to decorate or feel like you lack the resources. Here at Dutchland Quilt Patch, we want to help make it easy for you to create the space you love.
Here are some easy tips and tricks to get your home looking fresh for Spring.
Florals - pops of Spring florals are one of the best ways to create a bright, fresh feel to a space. Simply grab a jar, glass, or vase - and stick in some flowers.
Fresh flowers are amazing, but also require the maintenance of watering, feeding, and replenishing them.
Shop for here some small sprigs for as low as a few dollars a sprig, and have the stunning look without all the work.
Spring is a time when we think of birds and their nests, blooming buds, and growth in many different ways.
Birdhouses, birds, and nests add a great Spring feel. Their unique height and shape is a great addition to any display.
Candles, of course, are never out of season! Throw some floral rings around a few candles, place them in a tray, and you have a great centerpiece.
