Happy New Year to you and your family!

No matter how you found yourself closing out last year’s chapter, I hope that you will find joy and excitement with starting this new year in 2019. I always find the New Year an exciting time because not only is it a good time to look back and reflect on the past year, but also to dream and scheme about all the wonderful things that could happen in the New Year.

If you haven’t already, it’s not too late to take a few minutes and think back on the past year. I encourage you do so as it can bring back warm memories and an attitude of thankfulness.

What are 3 things you are most grateful for that happened this past year?

I find that as I reflect on the past year it reminds me to be grateful for everything that happened, both the joyous times filled with fun and laughter, along with the hard times filled with pain or tears. As I reflect on what life’s journey has brought this past year, it reminds me to be ever so thankful for what I have, the people around me who love me, and the opportunity each new day brings.

So whether or not you are a “Goals” person or a New Years resolution-guru, I think it’s good to think about the new year and get excited about some things you would love to see and do. And don’t worry about the date on the calendar - any day is a good day to start dreaming & scheming, and loving & doing.
